Each week, the English congregational leadership ministers to more than 500 adults, youth and children. There are three worship services: 8.30am and 10.30am services on Sunday, and a 3.30pm Youth Service on Saturday. A children’s programme runs concurrently with the 10.30am worship service on Sunday. Holy Communion is administered to all baptised believers every week.
“Is not wisdom found among the aged? Does not long life bring understanding?’ (Job 12:12)
The Golden Years Fellowship is devoted to those enjoying their retiree years. We meet weekly to deepen our walk with God and enjoy one another’s company. Typically, we study the Bible, pray for each other, sing and lunch together. We also warmly welcome pre-believing friends to join our meetings.

Our Cell Group Ministry aims to provide a small group setting for a closer fellowship and ministry. During the cell group meetings, members grow closer to God through worship and bible study, and grow closer towards one another in fellowship. There are also opportunities to serve one another with our spiritual gifts.

“Each one should use whatever gift he has received to serve others, faithfully administering God’s grace in its various forms.” (1 Peter 4:10)
Hospitality is a fundamental expression of the Gospel of Jesus Christ and what it means to be members of one body.
The Hospitality Team seeks to bless church members through planning, cooking and serving food during special church-wide events like Good Friday, Easter Sunday, Church Anniversary, Christmas Day, Watch Night Service, Mother’s Day, Father’s Day, Family Days and Kids’ Vacation Bible Camps; and also on Sundays after the services, creating opportunities for members to have a fellowship meal together.
Each member brings with him and her different strengths and skills that allow the team to serve others joyfully and effectively, for God’s glory.
If you love to cook, have a knack for creating, planning or serving wonderful meals, or just enjoy blessing others with good food and great company, check out how you can be a part of the Hospitality Team.

The Mandarin Congregation in Bethesda Pasir Ris Mission church started from a small bible study fellowship in 1979. Initiated by a few members from the English Congregation, the Mandarin fellowship was formed with the aim to bring the gospel to their Chinese educated parents and family members. The first worship service began on 28 February 1988, led by Pastor Chan Kum Wah and his co-workers. Today, the congregation has a regular attendance of about 150 people, including youth and children.
The Sunday worship service is held in Hall 3 from 9.00 am to 10.30am. After a short tea break at the Fellowship hall, members attend the Adult Sunday School from 11.00am to 12.15pm. A variety of classes are available to cater to the different needs of our members. In addition to the Sunday service, we have a weekly Prayer Meeting on Wednesdays from 8.00pm to 9.30pm.
To better tend to the needs of our members, we have organized our members by age into three fellowship groups – the Senior Citizen Fellowship, Adult Fellowship, and Youth Fellowship. Every member of the congregation is also assigned into a Care group to provide better support and a praying network for each member.

We pray that brothers and sisters will encourage their Mandarin speaking family members or friends to attend our Mandarin Service. You may also send your children to our Mandarin Sunday School so that they can have more opportunity to listen to Chinese through songs and bible stories.
