The committee’s roles and responsibilities are 1) to set policies for staff salaries, benefits and all remuneration-related matters, and 2) to provide oversight of the church's financial matters by giving recommendations on the annual capital and operating budgets, finance operational streamlining as well as enhancement of processes, where necessary.

It does not see its roles in merely setting policies and encouraging good church governance, but also in bearing godly wisdom through policies that can benefit the church’s staff in their daily work and ministry unto the Lord.
